Increases service from about every 90 minutes to once an hour, seven days a week. Realigns Route 50 to Cordata Station instead of Bellingham Station

Increases the number of weekday and Saturday trips arriving from Bellingham Station. Adds earlier and later trips to better align with employee schedules. Adds Sunday service. Maintains one trip per hour arriving from Cordata Station, with routing on Maplewood Ave

Route 4 currently serves St Joseph Hospital. WTA is proposing to create two separate bus routes that serve the Hospital departing from Cordata Station and Bellingham Station.

  • Route 9 Hospital - Downtown
  • Route 18 Maplewood/Hospital - Cordata

This change allows us to increases the frequency of buses arriving from Bellingham Station from every 60 minutes to every 30 minutes on weekdays.

Increases the number of weekday, Saturday and Sunday trips.

Increases the number of weekday and Saturday trips departing from Bellingham Station to twice an hour. Adds Sunday service

Adds Sunday service.

Adds hourly bus service on weekdays and Saturday.

Removes service on Levine Lane and through the Cornwall Park Neighborhood. Both areas have low ridership and are within about a five-minute walk to the nearest bus stop. This enables a frequency increase to St. Joseph Hospital. While some people may need to walk a little further, everyone will have twice as much bus service compared to today.

Proposed route 9 to St Joseph hospital, with removal of Levine Land and routing on Sunset Dr and Cornwall Ave.

Reduces the number of bus trips on East Bakerview Rd between Guide Meridian and Deemer Rd. This enables expansion of service to the King Mountain Neighborhood.

Unfortunately, because several of our new buses can't complete the U-turn at Birch Bay Village, we'll be eliminating up to eight trips to Birch Bay Village.

The total number of Route 75 trips is not proposed to change, only the number of times we go to Birch Bay Village.
