Along with our partners at City of Lynden and Whatcom County, WTA is working with a non-profit developer to enable affordable workforce housing at our Lynden Station.

This transit-friendly apartment community is intended to:

• Make it easier for hundreds of Lynden residents to ride the bus
• Increase transit ridership in Lynden
• Convert drive-alone trips to walking, biking and bus trips
• Turn underutilized public property into homes people can afford
• Increase housing availability for employees of Lynden businesses
