The Whatcom Housing Alliance (WHA) is partnering with the Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA) to produce the 2024 Transportation & Housing Forum on Sunday, January, 21st at the Hotel Leo Crystal Ballroom. The forum will spread education and awareness on how local transportation development and policy is essential to a healthy, vibrant and affordable community. You will have the opportunity to mingle with stakeholders before and after this catered event, while directly engaging our national keynote and transportation panel in Q&A, where we’ll discuss questions including:

• What are they key barriers to developing a more well-planned city, locally?
• What role does public transit and TODs play in a more affordable city?
• How do parking minimums play a role in affordability and city planning?
