Bellingham StationWTA's Bellingham Station is a vibrant transit hub that is reaching its capacity to support more service. It currently accommodates 22 bus routes, with 427 trips departing and arriving (854 total trips) each weekday from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. The station also houses a passenger waiting area, customer service, restrooms and staff offices. While the station worked great for many years, it is now in need of upgrades and cannot accommodate any more buses. This effort is an opportunity to reimagine the station and design a facility that will carry WTA through another 20 years, as well as imagining the potential for including other uses that enhance the downtown.
